Professional Interests

Pat Cole, Ph.D., is Professor Emeritus of family therapy and family business at the Department of Family Therapy in NSU's College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences (CAHSS). Her expertise is primarily in family business consulting, teaching, writing, and research. Her specialty in family business includes family relationships, couples (married and divorced), women, and gender issues. Over the years she presented on these topics at numerous national and international conferences and published in both business and family therapy academic journals. Her research has been cited in such publications as Time Magazine, Family Business Magazine, Fortune Magazine for Small Businesses, and The New York Times.
