The Fiscal Year (FY) 2017 Cohort Default Rate for the overall university is 2.5%.

The NSU Health Professions Division evaluates completed state residency applications from residents of the state of Florida. For tuition purposes, all incoming students will be classified as out-of-state residents until their state residency applications have been evaluated and accepted.

Students who do not complete their residency applications before the start of the academic year will not be eligible for in-state tuition. Upon matriculation, these students are not eligible for reclassification of state residency, and for tuition purposes, they will be assessed for out-of-state tuition for all subsequent terms of attendance.

For initial determination of residency, submit the State Residency Application to the Florida Residency In-State Tuition Department.

There is a $100 Degree Application fee.

The student insurance fee per semester is $959 for fall and $1,336 for winter.

This can be waived with proof of insurance.

Other fees may apply; tuition and fees may change without notice. The NSU College of Osteopathic Medicine collaborates with various other colleges within the university that offer courses that fulfill the program's curriculum. In the event that a course is being taken through another college, tuition will be per credit hour and may be based on the rate from the school in which the course is being offered.
