Sandra Garcia-Davis is a trained epidemiologist and biostatistician specializing in health services research. She’s a part of multiple funded projects at the Miami VA Geriatrics Research and Education Clinical Center (GRECC) and the South Florida VA Foundation and leads analyses with the Geriatrics and Extended Care Data Analysis Center.

Garcia-Davis graduated from the University of Miami with a Ph.D. in Epidemiology, and holds an M.P.H. degree with a concentration in biostatistics and epidemiology from the University of South Florida. Most notably, she has worked with the Elizabeth Dole Center of Excellence for Veteran and Caregiver Research to help develop the HERO CARE survey, a multicenter survey aimed at identifying the needs and unmet needs of veterans and caregivers, supplemented with data from VA electronic health records and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
