Dr. Russ received his B.S. in Physical Therapy from the University of Buffalo in 1999.  He completed the Kaiser Permanente Fellowship Program in Advanced Orthopedic Manual Therapy in 2005.  Dr. Russ completed his Transitional Doctorate in Physical Therapy through A.T. Stills University in 2013.

Dr. Russ’ primary research interests include the effects of manual therapy and orthopedic interventions on motor control and functional movement as well as enhancing clinical reasoning in novice and experienced clinicians.

Dr. Russ’s primary area of clinical practice is outpatient orthopedics. 

Dr. Russ has been an APTA and AAOMPT member since 1999 and is a current member of the orthopedic section of the APTA.    

Dr. Russ serves on the Item Writing Task Force for FSBPT which is a 3-year term.

Dr. Russ is a senior faculty member for Maitland Australian Physiotherapy Seminars and a clinician Gold Coast Physical Therapy, Lake Worth, FL.
