Dr. Meyer teaches Neuromuscular I and II to physical therapy students and contributes to the neurological residency program by teaching specialized modules. She also assists with Systems-Based Practice courses.

Dr. Meyer is currently assisting with research in the ALS unit examining jaw spasticity and the use of transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) as a potential management strategy.

Dr. Meyer provides physical therapy services in a variety of pro bono settings, including Hearts in Motion in Guatemala, Friends of the Redeemer United in Jamaica, and Hillside Healthcare in Belize. She is also committed to continuing her involvement in pro bono service through NSU medical outreach programs.

Dr. Meyer practices in an outpatient neurological setting at Memorial Regional Hospital South, providing physical therapy services to patients with a variety of neurological conditions.

Dr. Meyer is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association.
