Dr. Massad leads the Neuromuscular System course series in the entry-level DPT program.  She also teaches Fundamentals in Expert Practice, Contemporary Management of Central Nervous System Injury and Degenerative Conditions and Special Topics in Neurorehabilitation courses in the Neurologic PT Residency curriculum. 

Dr. Massad’s research interests include interprofessional education, residency education, vestibular rehabilitation, outcome measurement in neurologic patient populations, and health promotion and wellness in chronic conditions.

Dr. Massad serves as a chair of the Curriculum and Search Committees for the DPT program. She is the Program Coordinator for the Neurologic PT Residency. Dr. Massad also participates in community balance screenings, adaptive sports wellness, student affairs, and alumni engagement.

Dr. Massad is a clinical mentor for neurologic PT residents in the inpatient rehab, acute care, and outpatient settings at two local hospital systems. She also practices at Nova Southeastern University's outpatient therapy clinic providing seating evaluations for individuals with neurologic conditions.

Dr. Massad has been an APTA member since 2009 and is a current member of the Academy of Neurologic Physical Therapy and Academy of Physical Therapy Education, and Florida Consortium of Clinical Educators.
