Dr. Knoeferl has practiced as an Occupational Therapist in the Pacific Northwest, Midwest, and Southeastern regions with a primary focus on adult populations. Her practice expertise spans mental health, rehabilitation, home health, and outpatient settings. Throughout her career Dr. Knoeferl has seized leadership opportunities that require management, innovation, and strategic skills to navigate through changing healthcare contexts. An interest in opportunities for Occupational Therapists to diversify their skills so that they can remain professionally competitive and achieve work-life balance led Dr. Knoeferl to pursue higher education with a leadership focus. Dr. Knoeferl achieves work-life balance through visiting her furry, four-legged grandchildren, enjoying watersports, and travel.
