Hope E. Baylow, PhD, DA, CCC-SLP, TSHH, BCS-S, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Speech-Language Pathology at Nova Southeastern University. She brings more than 30 years of experience spanning clinical practice, higher education, academic leadership, and program development to the field of speech-language pathology.
Prior to joining Nova Southeastern University, Dr. Baylow served as Associate Professor and Founding Program Director of the Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders and Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology (Distance Education) programs at The University of Scranton. She also held leadership roles as Graduate Program Director and Special Assistant Professor at Hofstra University and as Administrative Director of Rehabilitative Medicine at Richmond University Medical Center.
Dr. Baylow's research and clinical interests include dysphagia, voice disorders, and neurogenic communication disorders. She has more than 25 years of university teaching experience and extensive expertise in curriculum development, accreditation, academic administration, and clinical education. An active contributor to the profession, she has presented at regional, national, and international conferences; authored and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and professional presentations; and served as a reviewer for peer-reviewed journals.
