Marriage and Family Therapy Club: The Marriage and Family Therapy Club aims to provide master students with resources for personal and professional growth in the field. Graduate students are given the opportunity to collaborate with professors, practicing therapists and internal and external organizations to develop professionally. Important connections are made within the club through social events and community service initiatives, as well as through educational trainings and workshops. You can follow the club on Facebook and Instagram.
Friends of Stable Place: The essential joy of being with horses is that it brings us in contact with the rare elements of grace, beauty, spirit and freedom. Stable Place is a non-profit organization that provides Equine-Assisted clinical services to individuals, couples, and families in the Broward County community. The Friends of Stable Place Club aims to provide resources for professional and personal growth to students who are interested in the field of Equine-Assisted Family Therapy. Nova Southeastern University students are given the opportunity to collaborate with and connect with professors, peers, and equine professionals in order to develop in the areas of practice, research, professionalism, and leadership in the growing field of Equine-Assisted Therapy. All current Nova Southeastern University students registered within the Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine are invited to become members of the Friends Of Stable Place Club, including undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral level students. Students are not required to have taken any Equine Therapy courses to be eligible to join. Within the organization connections are made through educational workshops, social events and community service events. The Friends of Stable Place Club aims to support Stable Place by allowing club members to contribute to the growth of the organization by helping with events, volunteering, and creating community awareness. Visit them on Facebook or Instagram.
