Freshmen are required to successfully complete First-Year Seminar (UNIV 1000) in the first semester at NSU.

Human Nutrition Minor

KPCOM’s Human Nutrition Minor provides curriculum in areas relevant to public health, social and behavioral health sciences, and community health. The interprofessional experiences of KPCOM faculty offer students a realistic look into the benefits, rewards, and challenges of public health.

Human Nutrition Minor - Requirements (18 Credits)

BSHN 1200 Nutrition in the Health Professions
BSHN 2300 Nutrition Education, Counseling, and Communication
BSHN 2000 Principles Of Wellness
BSHN 3000 Life Span Nutrition

Select 6 additional credits from any of the Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition Electives courses.
