GENERAL EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS (30 credits)
Students are required to complete 30 credit hours as part of the General Education Program and 30 additional credit hours with open electives. Freshmen are required to successfully complete First-Year Seminar (UNIV 1000) in their first semester at NSU.

The Health and Wellness Coaching Minor provides curriculum to explore coaching across the lifespan. Academic coursework covers the foundations of coaching, systems theory, and behavioral health. Our innovative and clinical faculty offer students a practical look into the benefits and challenges of a career in health and wellness coaching.
Health and Wellness Coaching Minor Requirements (18 credits)
And select 6 credits from any of the required or elective courses in the HAWC (Bachelor of Science in Health and Wellness Coaching), BSPH (Bachelor of Science in Public Health), and/or the BSHN (Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition) programs.
