The NSU Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) curriculum offers a comprehensive, practice-focused foundation in the core disciplines of public health, preparing students to address complex population health challenges with confidence and skill. Students complete essential coursework in biostatistics, epidemiology, environmental and occupational health, health policy and management, social and behavioral sciences, ethics, research methods, applied practice experience, and an integrative learning experience. A broad selection of electives, such as global health, public health leadership, epidemiologic surveillance, maternal and child health, and public health advocacy among others, allow students to tailor the program to their professional goals. This flexible, multidisciplinary structure supports students in developing competencies that translate directly into impactful public health practice.
