Department of Internal Medicine

Welcome Message

Welcome to the Department of Internal Medicine at Nova Southeastern University Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine!

We are excited to have you join our vibrant academic and clinical community. As a department, we are committed to advancing the practice of medicine through education, mentorship, and research. Our dedicated faculty members play a crucial role in shaping the next generation of medical professionals. As course directors, they take pride in teaching medical students across clinical courses, ensuring that students receive the knowledge, skills, and hands-on experience necessary to succeed in the evolving field of internal medicine.

Beyond the classroom, our faculty members serve as mentors in the Internal Medicine Clinic, providing invaluable guidance and clinical expertise to students while fostering a collaborative learning environment. In our clinic, students can directly engage with patients, honing their clinical skills under the supervision of faculty members who are passionate about teaching and patient care.

In addition to our educational efforts, the department is actively involved in research and scholarly activities. Our faculty are engaged in a variety of cutting-edge studies, contributing to the growth of medical knowledge and enhancing patient care practices. We encourage students to become involved in these activities, fostering a spirit of inquiry and a commitment to lifelong learning.

We are excited about the opportunity to work alongside you, and we look forward to a fulfilling and rewarding journey together in internal medicine.
