Tuition and Fees

Tuition for the Master of Science in Biomedical Informatics program in the College of Osteopathic Medicine at Nova Southeastern University is $680 per credit.

Current fees are as follows:

  • Application Fee: $50
  • Health Professions Division Student Access Fee: $145 per year
  • Nova Southeastern University Student Service Fee: $1350
    Charged as $450 each term that students are registered for 4 credits. If a student is registered for less than 4 credits for any term, they will only be charged half of this amount.
  • Students are required to have health insurance. If a student's existing policy meets the university requirement, they can waive the university's policy. More information can be found online at Student Health Insurance for NSU Students.
  • Students are responsible for the cost of books and supplies. 
  • Some practicum sites may require background checks, drug screening, and immunization records. Students are responsible for any associated costs. 

Tuition and fees are subject to change without notice. The College of Osteopathic Medicine collaborates with various other colleges within the university that offer courses which fulfill the program's curriculum. In the event that a course is being taken through another college, tuition will be per credit and based on the school in which the course is being offered.

Tuition Discounts

The following tuition discounts are in effect for the Biomedical Informatics Program:

  • Active duty military and veterans discount - 15% Off
  • Health Professions Division (HPD) student discount (Applies to all DO, Medical Science, PharmD, DMD, Post Grad Dental, and OD students also taking Biomedical Informatics courses) - $100 off/credit hour
  • Prior Social Medicine student discount (Applies to all students who have previously completed the Graduate Certificate in Social Medicine and are now pursuing the Master of Science in Biomedical Informatics) - Tuition will be the same as tuition for the Graduate Certificate in Social Medicine Program
  • Cohort discount - Please contact the Biomedical Informatics Program Office (954.262.1032; for information on discounts for corporate or other cohorts.
