Circumstances may warrant that a student enrolled in a medical school seeks to transfer to another institution. Credits may be transferred from medicaIs schools and colleges accredited by the Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation (COCA) of the American Osteopathic Association or by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME).
Anyone wishing to transfer to Nova Southeastern University College of osteopathic Medicine must meet the following criteria:
Please note, approved transfers may only come from medical school programs accredited by LCME or COCA.
Decisions on transfer are made by the dean. No applicant will be accepted without an interview. The decision will be based on factors which include, but are not limited to, academic record,interview, circumstances leading to transfer request, available space, and admission standards.
