Welcome to NSU’s Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition!

You’re here because you already know how vital the role of nutrition is to human health and vitality. Now dig deeper into how this degree program will prepare you many careers. Combine your love of science with a desire to learn and educate others on the importance of human nutrition.

Offered by the Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine, this program is led by esteemed faculty members who are also active nutrition professionals. Enjoy an integrated approach to instruction and great opportunities for interprofessional engagement. Students are guided through a core curriculum on a blend of wellness topics, such as behavioral health and nutritional sciences for a broad foundation in nutrition and dietetics practice. Students can personalize their focus of study with innovative major electives, community-based outreach or practicum experiences.

We are proud of accomplishments of our graduates. Some have obtained exciting jobs in the field of nutrition. Others have gone onto secure internship spots in competitive programs. This program also can be the basis for dual enrollment for the Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine program.
